After my wife became critically ill out the blue in June 2018 I was really left dealing everything, relatives, bills, friends and our new born baby. It was a very stressful time.
I attended one of the family group session aimed at supporting the relatives of critical care survivors in February. At first wasn't sure what to expect but I found it very useful meeting others who had similar experiences.
