Jersey Critical Care Survivors (JCCS) is committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act, 2018. Looking after the personal information you share with us is very important, and we want you to be confident that your personal data is kept safely and securely.
If we make changes to this notice we will notify you by updating it on our website. JCCS will be what is known as the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. By Data Controller, this means JCCS determines the purposes and way in which any personal data are, or will be, processed.
In our database, we may keep some personal information including:
Your full name, address, contact numbers, e-mail address, and sometimes medical information to/from health professionals regarding the provision of your medical treatment.
JCCS may collect, use and share your medical information with other medical agencies/health professionals regarding the provision of your medical treatment if provided by JCCS charitable funding. We will not sell, distribute or otherwise disclose your information without your consent, unless required or permitted to do so by law.
JCCS also works with suppliers who may make use of cloud and/or hosted technologies. JCCS undertake data security due diligence on our suppliers and ensure that these suppliers conform to appropriate accreditations.
